A google scholar open search plugin for firefox and IE
Strangely, there is no searchplugin for google scholar on the default search plugins page for firefox.
Well, it’s more than easy to create one (see for example this guide at mozdev), so i created one for google scholar that i’m happy to share.
Install the google scholar searchplugin for firefox using javascript
You may as well download the xml file for google scholar search and place it in the searchplugins folder of firefox (for Ubuntu, that is /usr/lib/firefox-addons/searchplugins).
Here is the sourcecode of the plugin, including the Base 64 encoded icon.
